Vertiv™ High Powerbar

A complete power solution for transformer to main panel board connections. Vertiv’s High Powerbar (HPB) is a 1000V totally encased, non-ventilated and low impedance busbar. HPB sandwich construction range has been engineered for applications which require moving large amounts of power. Most commonly HPB is used to distribute power from transformers to low voltage switchboards and then down to further power distribution boards.

Benefits

Low impedance sandwich design improves short circuit rating, reduce voltage drop and removes potential pathways for flame, smoke or gas to pass through the busbar system
Extruded aluminium casing is light weight and facilitates heat conductivity
The modular design of HPB allows it to be easily installed horizontally or vertically depending on specific project requirements.
Insulated tap off slot cover prevents access to the contacts behind the cover, protecting from the entry of dirt, dust and moisture
High Powerbar offers a fully certified fire wall penetration barrier for either a four hour or two hour rating
High Powerbar can be connected to other Powerbar ranges to form a complete power distribution system.

Features

Available with a choice of 99.99% conductivity copper or 55% conductivity aluminium conductors to suit project specifications.
Available from 800A - 5000A with multiple bar configurations.
Each 3m length of Powerbar can host up to 5 fixed tap off points.
All tap off points have an ‘earth first, break last’ safety feature.
Joint pack construction with double headed shear nuts for quick installation.
Pressed out tags for tap off connections.
