Vertiv Introduces Budget-Friendly, Compact Power Protection System for IT Spaces and Edge Applications in Southeast Asia

Singapore [December 20, 2023] – Amid growing dependence on technology for either work or play, the need for reliable, cost-effective power protection system also increases. Against this backdrop, Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today launched its budget-friendly desktop uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system in select Southeast Asian markets. The Vertiv™ Liebert® PSA-SOHO-LITE is now available in 720VA capacity throughout Southeast Asia, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Cambodia, and soon in Thailand and Pakistan.
Globe’s newest data center facility in Tiaong improves digital connectivity by widening availability and strengthening reliability of its mobile and fixed network services, resulting in better customer experience. Globe was keen to optimize construction time, while also prioritizing energy efficient operation. Ultimately, this challenge was resolved by Vertiv’s integrated modular solutions, which include Vertiv’s full suite of power, thermal and IT management solutions, and the support of its in-house, in-house expertise in prefabricated data center infrastructure.
The Liebert® PSA-SOHO-LITE is a feature-rich, line-interactive UPS system designed for small IT spaces such as desktop computer workstations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, gaming setup, smart home systems, and other small IT equipment. Compared to other models in its class, the Liebert PSA-SOHO-LITE offers a more compact system, weighing at 4.4 kilograms, but with the same reliable protection against power disturbances provided by the Vertiv™ Liebert® PSA UPS family.
The Liebert PSA-SOHO-LITE comes with fuse protection and built-in automatic voltage regulator (AVR) for clean and stabilized power output. It provides protection against a wide range of power disturbances, including surges, short circuits, overload and over discharge. The Liebert PSA-SOHO-LITE, comes with a newly-designed three-color LED status light, and two universal sockets with ample space for large plugs for convenient connectivity. It also has a built-in overload protection and alarm system for better security.
